Backyard Summer Fun

Some of the best advice I've ever received from Gregory Heisler (not personaly but in his book) was, if your first inclination is to shoot from high, try shooting your subject from down low. If your first idea is to shoot on the long end of the lens, try it wide. Doesn't get much lower or wider than this A great summer shot! Here's a little gem from yesterday's testing of the photek softlighter II in the backyard. 60 inches of soft goodness that folds just like any umbrella! I'll be using it alone for a group photo today! — at Nakean Photography. Lit with single Einstein 640 through 60" softlighter II above the camera. http://flic.kr/p/nkAQEH
