Mr. Personality
I absolutely love this shot of Keith! It's screams, "hay! Here I am." Quite a bit of work be done in this photograph as these glasses were THICK! They reflected everything right back at the camera. Originally the fill light reflections were quite large blocking parts of the eyes. They are no more :) My second issue was the Beauty dish hung in the frame just over his head. It's gone now! The pattern and flare are from the strip lights on either side and that's something I didn't want to remove, as it give this image it's icing on the cake IMHO. Let me know what you think! The usual recipe with boomed beauty dish above softbox behind for fill. Two rim lights through gridded softboxes(grid give pattern on the background right). Shot in my West Seattle Garage Studio. http://flic.kr/p/mfbUC6

Standing Tall
Lit with Beauty dish overhead No fill this time around. gridded stripboxes for rim light on either side. Background is an overlay and actually placed on top of the image instead of behind. This helps maintain the shadows in the original image. http://flic.kr/p/mdxSQs

Blue Jade
First ever fashion shoot, and I'm lovin it! It's invigorating to jump out of your comfort zone and try something new! You never know what excitement and joy lies ahead. This image was lit with a einstein 640 through a gridded beauty dish boomed overhead. Fill light was provided by an EXD400 light through a large softbox just behind me. Two striplights are placed on either side of Jade to add a bit of rim light. In post blue light was added entering from the top of the frame to tie in the hat and chair which adds a tranquil, calming feeling to the image.
